We are seeking to recruit an experienced mobile developer for a 15-month project to work on the development of a classroom response system (known as UniDoodle) for use on mobile phones and tablets. A working prototype already exists and, as such, the principal duties include the following:

  • Drive development of the UniDoodle classroom response system; manage backlog and prioritize feature development
  • Develop a set of new features for the suite of native mobile applications, for use on a range of devices and operating systems (Apple, Android, etc.). These applications support sketch-based user input, and communicate via a cloud-based service 
  • Provide guidance and direction for junior team members
  • Document work carried out throughout the project, deliver technical reports as needed.

In addition, the project requires the deployment of a locally hosted analytics framework to a cloud-based system.

Salary

Salary range:                                                                 €68,569 - €73,586 per annum (4 points)

Appointment will be made in accordance with the Department of Finance pay guidelines.   

*New entrants to the public sector will be appointed on the first point of the advertised scale.
