Applications are invited for the above post, which offers the opportunity to gain experience and skills in medical education particularly small and large group teaching, workplace-based teaching, written and assessment including standard setting.  

The post offers an opportunity to undertake clinical research in areas supported by the Department of Psychiatry. The successful applicant will work clinically with the Academic Team at St. James’s Hospital, which provide a catchment area General Adult Psychiatry service based at St. James’s Hospital and Rialto Primary Care Centre.  

The post is particularly suitable for a post membership non-consultant hospital doctor who wishes to gain experience and skills in medical education. 

The appointment is available from 11th July 2022 and is offered on a one-year fixed term contract basis with a potential for renewal up to a maximum of 3 years. 

Salary: This appointment will be made on the Lecturer/Registrar €58,567 - €68968 per annum scale or Specialist Registrar scale €65,659 - €81,747 per annum in line with current public pay policy.
