Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Sport and Exercise Science

Applications are invited for an academic post in the area Sport and Performance in the UCD School of Public Health, Physiotherapy and Sports Science. The role will focus on exercise testing and exercise prescription. The post holder will have a leading role in sport science programmes across the School, contributing to the design, delivery and assessment of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, in particular the School’s BSc Health and Performance Science undergraduate degree. The post holder will be expected to promote research-informed teaching. The School is a multidisciplinary unit which is highly research active; the post holder will support and contribute to the research endeavours of the School, research student supervision and to school administration.

95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Below The Bar (7944) Salary Scale: €35,598 - €62,210 per annum

Or

95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Above The Bar (7943) Salary Scale: €55,951 - €88,601 per annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
