Applications are invited for a Specified Purpose appointment commencing Jan. 2023 (Estimated duration: up to 20 months) of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Applied and Computational Mathematics within UCD School of Mathematics and Statistics.

University College Dublin is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Applied and Computational Mathematics in the School of Mathematics and Statistics.

UCD School of Mathematics and Statistics is committed to research and teaching across the mathematical sciences, including mathematics, applied mathematics, computational mathematics, statistics and actuarial science.

The successful candidate will be expected to engage in research in Applied and Computational Mathematics and to contribute to the School’s wide-ranging programme of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.

95 Lecture/Assistant Professor (below the bar) 2010 (2013) Salary Scale: €35,598 - €62,210 per annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines

Closing date: 17:00hrs (local Irish time) on 28th October 2022.
