Information Systems Analyst/Project Lead

We are seeking to appoint an Information Systems Analyst / Project Lead - Enterprise Solutions, Information Systems at the Administrative Officer 1 grade. This permanent position, within the Information Systems team, part of the Enterprise Solutions function, will be a lead analyst on support and projects, in the area of the University Administration systems focusing on staff (HR & payroll), Financial, and supporting ancillary systems. The scope also includes support and implementation Business intelligence and bespoke software, as part of the wider Enterprise Solutions function and future structure. Systems and related projects will be of varying size and complexity, typically involving multiple stakeholders, and combining internal and external resources, such as the upgrade and replacement of complex business solutions, their associated business processes, and the development of associated services.

The successful candidate will have excellent technical knowledge and strong IT experience to be able to gather and speedily analyse information for key business systems, and to interact with technical staff, whether IT Services colleagues, colleagues across other Departments or suppliers. The successful candidate will have strong capabilities in system/application support, incident management and security administration. Administrative Officer I (2022) Salary Scale:    €53,232 – €75,951 p.a. (9 points)

Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
