Applications are invited for a Permanent post of a Business Development Manager within UCD Careers Network.

UCD Careers Network is a professional services unit comprising UCD Careers Network (Belfield) and UCD Careers Network (Blackrock).

Professional services are offered to a range of key client groups, including: 

  • Students and alumni (up to two years postgraduation) 
  • Academic faculty and administrative staff 
  • Employers and organisations who recruit interns, volunteers and graduates.

UCD Careers Network is committed to enhancing the employability of UCD students. We support the achievement of UCD Strategic Objectives and play a key role in the implementation of the UCD Career Development & Employability Strategy 2015-2025. UCD is currently ranked number 1 in Ireland in the QS World Rankings for Graduate Employability.

Developing opportunities for our students to access developmental employment-based experience is an important feature of the UCD educational experience. Increasing UCD's engagement with employers across sectors is a key priority and the post-holder will play a significant role is shaping and pushing this agenda forward.

The post-holder will work collaboratively with student and staff-facing colleagues in the Careers Network and the broader University, to grow the number of opportunities that UCD students' have to engage with employers and gain work-related experience. The work of the post-holder will contribute to UCD continuing an upward trajectory in the QS World Ranking in general and specifically around graduate employability.

Salary scale: 95 Administrative Officer I\2010 (0172\X) 47,432 - 64,264 per annum.

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
