Applications are invited for a Permanent post of a Associate Professor in Computer Science within UCD School of Computer Science

The UCD School of Computer Science ( is Ireland's leading computer science school in terms of teaching and research. We offer taught programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels which attract the top students from Ireland and abroad. Our staff are research active and hold key leadership positions in internationally significant research centres such as the Insight Centre for Data Analytics (, CeADAR - the Centre for Applied AI ( ), ML Labs Centre for Research Training ( ), and the UCD Centre for Cybersecurity and Cybercrime Investigation ( ). The School is committed to excellence in teaching and research and to supporting the Information & Communications Technology sector in Ireland.

In order to address the demand for graduates and postgraduates in computer science, the School is now recruiting an Associate Professor who will work in the area of Software Engineering and Distributed Systems. As an Associate Professor, the appointee will be expected to contribute strongly to the school's research and teaching programmes and to provide administrative support to the school's operations. The appointee will have demonstrated their leadership in their field of research and their ability to build a world-class research programme in the school.

95 Associate Professor Salary Scale: 75,662 - 106,851 per annum

Appointment will be made scale in accordance with UCD and Department of Finance guidelines.
