This is a 5-year tenure track, full-time contract post as Assistant Professor in Language Education. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research, and supervision duties in the School, and will have an active programme of research in language education that will contribute to the international profile of the School. The post of Assistant Professor in Language Education is essential for the continued development of teaching, research, and supervision within the field of language education. In particular, the successful candidate will build on existing research and teaching strengths within the School in this area, and extend School capacity in making a proactive contribution to policy and practice across diverse educational settings.

Post status: 5 Year Fixed Term, Tenure Track Contract

Salary: Appointment will be made on the Lecturer Salary Scale (109BN) commensurate with qualifications / experience and in line with Public Sector Pay Policy [€38,719 to €94,031 per annum] https://www.tcd.ie/hr/assets/pdf/monthly-academic.pdf
