The Department of Economics, School of Social Sciences and Philosophy, is seeking to appoint one Assistant Professor in Economics, to commence on 1st August 2023. The Department invites applications in all fields to add to the strengths of the department: http://www.tcd.ie/Economics/research.

Successful applicants will contribute to research and teaching in the Department of Economics. The existing research strengths of the Department include development economics, international macroeconomics, and applied economics more generally (in particular, economic history, energy economics, political economy and urban economics).

Post status: This is a 5-year fixed term tenure track post.

Salary: Appointment will be made on the Lecturer Salary Scale (109BN) commensurate with qualifications / experience and in line with Public Sector Pay Policy [€37,960 to €92,187 per annum] https://www.tcd.ie/hr/assets/pdf/monthly-academic.pdf
