The Role

We are seeking an excellent academic to join our staff as an Assistant Lecturer on the STEM Passport for Inclusion. The person will have responsibility for teaching students who are registered on the STEM Passport for Inclusion project from across Ireland. The appointee will have a proven record of teaching in science and/or education and/or computer science, and should have research and publication, appropriate to career stage.

The appointee will be expected to engage in research that supports the University’s research strategy including affiliating to the Research Institutes where appropriate, and work with colleagues on national and international research. The appointee will be expected to sustain and conduct research, engage in scholarship of quality and substance and generate publications of international standard. 

Assistant Lecturer (2022) Salary Scale:                              €37,166 - €39,274 (2 points) 

Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
