Job Description:
Applications are invited for the Post of Project Assistant for the Consultancy Project from Pure Earth, USA in School of Civil Engineering (SCE), Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT).
Title of the Project:
Assessing and promoting low-cost methods for detection of lead in soil to support identification of contaminated sites.
Qualification:
M.Sc./M.E./M. Tech or equivalent in Environmental Science/Environmental Engineering.
Desirable (if any):
Candidates having fluency in Tamil language and knowledge in field sampling environmental monitoring, chemical analysis and experience in technical writing will be preferred.
Stipend:
Rs. 20,000/- per month
