The Department of Economics and Business (https://economics.ceu.edu/ ) is looking to fill a half-time Professor of Practice position.

Your duties and responsibilities

  • Offer at least 6 credits of courses in data engineering and/or data science
  • Contribute to curriculum development and general service and administrative tasks in the department
  • Build and maintain corporate relationships in Austria and other relevant markets

Your qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a social science or a quantitative field
  • Industry experience in the field of data science, machine learning or data engineering, preferably in senior roles
  • Teaching experience in the same topics
  • Relevant PhD, public projects and publications are a plus

What CEU offers
We offer a yearly salary of 22,600 EUR as well as additional benefits (e. g. pension plan, research funding).
The initial contract is for 3 years renewable and can be turned into an indefinite contract depending on the outcome of a review.
