The Department of Public Policy invites applications for a Part-time (20 hours/week) Junior Program Coordinator position. The Junior Program Coordinator will be responsible for providing assistance throughout the academic year to the Mundus MAPP Program Manager and support for Mundus MAPP Program/Consortium administration.

 

The Department of Public Policy offers four master's degrees  in public policy, an executive master's  in public administration and the public policy track of the Doctor of Philosophy in Political Science  program. The Erasmus Mundus Masters Program in Public Policy provides a detailed and systematic understanding of how political institutions, processes, and public policies operate and interact from the global political economy to national and local levels with a direct focus on European engagements at these levels of governance. Mundus MAPP offers four mobility tracks each combining two institutions and specializing in a field of public policy.

 

Your main duties and responsibilities:

 

  • Providing administrative assistance to the Mundus MAPP Program Manager and the Mundus MAPP Program Director
  • Assisting with admissions (admission emails, checking and pre-screening applications, saving and organizing application packages, preparing admission reports, merit lists following-up with applicants, etc.)
  • Assisting with the enrollment process (collecting documents, scanning and enrollment documents, preparing excel sheets, dealing with insurance for students, collecting consents, adding incoming students to internal social media groups, etc.)
  • Liaising with students (assisting them in course registration, thesis submission, etc.)
  • Liaising with professional partners and alumni
  • Managing and curating content for the Mundus MAPP website and social media accounts, ensuring a consistent and engaging online presence.
  • Managing events, receptions (booking rooms, travel arrangements, preparing agendas, sending out invitations, looking after participants, ordering catering, preparing meeting minutes)
  • Handling ad hoc administrative tasks

 

Your skills and qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 1+ years of relevant work experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Digital literacy in email, databases, social media, MS Office, and website maintenance
  • Analytical skills (data mining, wrangling, forecasting, statistics)
  • Familiarity with digital marketing trends and content creation platforms

We offer a competitive salary starting from gross 40 000 (pro-rated) EUR/year. A higher salary is possible if warranted by the candidate’s working experience.

 

This will be a fixed-term contract for a period of 5 years.
