Duties 

The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “Development of impact-tolerant composite sandwich panel with shear-thickening gel applied carbonfibre-reinforced polymer (SACFRP) and 3D printed honeycomb cores”.  He /she will be required to:

(a)    fabricate composite sandwich panels;

(b)    develop multiscale FEA modelling methods for SACFRP skin laminates; and

(c)    conduct structural design for 3D-printed TPU honeycomb cores.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a doctoral degree and research experience in composite manufacturing, composite testing, finite element analysis or related areas.
