Responsibilities

The appointee is expected to provide research and administrative support to the Wofoo Joseph Lee Consulting and Counselling Psychology Research Centre.

The appointee will be responsible for

  • articipating in independent and joint research programmes;
  • teaching courses at undergraduate and / or postgraduate levels;
  • performing certain administrative duties of the Centre; and
  • performing any other duties as assigned by the Centre Director.
  • Requirements

    Applicants should

  • have a PhD degree in psychology or a related discipline;
  • be able to teach courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in psychology fields;
  • have undertaken research in the aforementioned field(s); and
  • be able to publish research output with international impact.
  • Applicants are required to provide information on their research publications and evidence of quality teaching. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential. Experience in neuroimaging research (e.g., EEG) will be a distinct advantage.

    Appointment

    The conditions of appointment will be competitive. The rank and remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund, gratuity and incoming passage and baggage allowance for the eligible appointee.

    Appointment will normally be made on a fixed-term contract of three years. Experienced candidate of Postdoctoral Fellow may carry a functional title of Research Assistant Professor.
