Offer Description
A postdoc and a PhD positions are available at the Institute of Computer Science (ICS), Foundation for Research and Technology-Hellas (FORTH), Heraklion, Crete Island, Greece. The positions are funded by an excellence grant approved by the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation
(HFRI, https://www.elidek.gr/en/news/ ).
The duration of the appointment for the postdoc researcher is 12 months.
RESEARCH TOPIC
We are looking for highly motivated applicants with a strong expertise in concurrent and/or distributed computing. In particular, the project focuses on developing persistent algorithms and data structures for settings with Non Volatile Memories (NVMs) and other emerging hardware technologies.
