The DFG-funded project Base4NFDI   is a joint initiative of all consortia of the National Research Data Infrastructure   (NFDI). You will help shape Germany's most ambitious project to provide basic services for research data management. As part of a highly motivated coordination team of colleagues from TU Dresden, GESIS and SUB Göttingen, you will be working in a key position. We welcome your ideas and expertise to complement our dynamic team.

SUB Göttingen   is a service provider and partner for a wide range of information services of the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen and takes on a variety of tasks within the framework of networked, supra-regional services. It is a research and development partner for a viable research and information infrastructure including the implementation of Open Science Policies in Germany and internationally.

Your tasks:

  • Supporting the Base4NFDI Technical Expert Committee in conceptual and technical aspects
  • Coordinating and actively participating in the national and international networking of Base4NFDI, especially with EOSC
  • Representing and consulting on Base4NFDI in the scientific community
Your profile:
  • Academic degree, preferably in computer science or related to computer science
  • High communication and networking skills on technical-infrastructural topics
  • Proficiency in German and English
  • Delight in efficient communication and working in teams
  • Ideally skills in software architectures and distributed software development
  • Ideally experience with committees and/or knowledge of German and European research infrastructures
