We are looking for an enthusiastic System Integration Scientist with a passion for future mobility and logistics. As an organizational talent in your team, you will integrate technical sub-solutions into an intelligent fleet and location management for electric commercial vehicles together with the project's tech experts.

Motivation

We are working on one of the most important challenges of the current decade: the electrification and decarbonization of mobility. Commercial vehicles in particular pose an enormous challenge, as large fleets, long distances and unconditional reliability play a much greater role than in passenger vehicles.

The new SPIRIT-E research project includes the development and implementation of shared charging infrastructure at logistics hubs as well as the implementation of integrated fleet and energy management all the way from the vehicle to the energy system. In this way, it helps to save resources, improve infrastructure utilization and achieve a successful energy and mobility transition in Germany. In doing so, we work with seven partners from research and industry, from OEMs to innovative start-ups, and implement developed solutions in real-world labs.

Become part of our Smart Mobility Lab at the Chair of Automotive Engineering and actively shape the future of mobility!

Your Challenge

We are looking for an enthusiastic System Integration Scientist with a passion for future mobility and logistics. As an organizational talent in your team, you will integrate technical sub-solutions into an intelligent fleet and location management for electric commercial vehicles together with the project's tech experts. You always keep an eye on the common thread, ensure measurable project success with suitable evaluation functions and evaluation scenarios, and investigate the scalability of the project approaches, taking into account economic efficiency and sustainability. As the communicative heart of the group, you coordinate the implementation of the real lab and organize a customer advisory board of the logistics industry, consisting of various economic stakeholders. Your work will prepare you optimally for a later career in industry and offers you the opportunity to build an innovative network in science and business.

Your Profile

As the ideal candidate, you have a master's STEM degree. Above all, however, you are a talented communicator and organizer, have taken management courses during your studies, have already worked in industry, or have other concrete experience with the structuring and implementation of team projects.

Your Opportunities

As part of our team, you will actively shape the mobility revolution and build a valuable network of mobility and logistics players. You will be part of a team of experienced Smart Mobility experts who will support and promote you with their expertise.
