Updated: 18 days ago
Location: Stuttgart, BADEN W RTTEMBERG

Announcement for fields of study such as: Computer science, mechanical engineering, software design, software engineering or comparable.

Our Robot and Assistive Systems department develops robot solutions and supporting technologies for application fields such as manufacturing, logistics, and robot-assisted living. A significant example of our work is the Care-O-bot 4 platform, a technology test bed as well as a product by one of our spin-off companies. Other examples include reconfigurable production lines in the automotive domain, and machine-to-cloud software stacks to monitor assets, drive machinery, and optimize production processes.

In the current project, we would like to create a web-based digital twin of a robotic application. It should virtualize actuator movement such as a robot as real physical hardware. It also shows the status of an behaviour tree-based application. It can enable users to create behaviour tree from a web browser by drag and drop.

What you will do

For this project, we are looking for enthusiastic candidates that can collaborate within the team by performing task related to one of the following profiles:

  • Web design
  • Virtualization of movement of actuators in Web similar as rviz
  • Virtualization of application status
  • Online collision check

What you bring to the table

  • Motivation to learn and perform challenging tasks
  • Creativity and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • ROS2
  • Web design
  • Programming skills such as Python, typescript and javascript
