What you will do

  • Planning, preparation, and execution of system tests and experiments in our fiber optical laboratories

  • Software programming (e.g. with C++, Python, Matlab) for device control, data analysis, and simulations

  • Hardware development (design, simulation, EMC compatibility, FPGA programming in VHDL)

What you bring to the table

  • Full-time students of electrical engineering, physics or communications engineering with good to very good grades

  • Professional commitment

  • Team spirit, ability to work independently and autonomously

  • Experience in one or more of the activities (see above) is advantageous

The position is initially limited to 6 months. An extension is explicitly desired.

The monthly working time is 80 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
