What you will do

  • Driving innovative AI research through the development and implementation, practical application, theoretical analysis and evaluation of AI algorithms

  • Use of XAI tools to explain machine learning models

  • Implementation of deep learning

  • Improvement of models, e.g. in terms of efficiency, training performance or inference behavior

What you bring to the table

  • Enrolled Bachelor's/Master's student in full-time studies in the fields of computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering or related courses with good to very good grades

  • Programming experience, especially good to very good knowledge of Python

  • Experience with machine learning, in particular with neural networks and their implementation (Pytorch, Tensorflow or similar)

  • Interest in explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) and/or applied machine learning (AML) and/or efficient deep learning (EDL)

  • Motivation and initiative   

The position requires physical presence in Berlin.

The position is initially limited to 1 year. An extension is explicitly desired.

The monthly working time is 80 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
