We are looking for the Institute of Applied Geosciences (AGW) as soon as possible and limited to 3 years (an extension for another 3 years is possible) for a

Scientist (f/m/d) in applied geosciences The position is a qualification position for a habilitation. Your tasks will therefore comprise teaching and research. We currently focus on the following research topics: geothermal energy, coupled processes in the subsurface, rock mechanics, fractured and karst systems, landslides, geological modelling and reactive transport. Hence, you should be able to link to at least one of these topics. However, new and innovative topics are also highly welcome.

You have a university degree (Master) and a PhD in one of the following disciplines: Applied geosciences (engineering geology and/or hydrogeology), geotechnical engineering, mining, geophysics or any comparable scientific degree in a related field.
