The University of Göttingen invites applications for a
Scientific project manager with excellent writing skills (all genders welcome)
to support a consortium of researchers in the field of Behavioral Biology, Systems and Theoretical Neuroscience, and Psychology at the Göttingen Campus.
This is a full-time position (currently 39,82 hours/week) for two years. The salary is in accordance with the German public service salary scale (TV-L 13). The position should be filled as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will assist the speakers of the respective initiatives in the preparation of grant applications, coordinate activities with the principal investigators and communicate with external partners. The position holder will be involved in the writing and proof-reading process, as well as in budget planning.
Your profile
- A PhD in Cognitive or Behavioural Biology, Systems, Computational or Theoretical Neuroscience, Psychology or related disciplines
- A strong track record of scientific writing, ideally also for grant applications
- Project management experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
