What to expect

  • You will supervise students in the context of practical courses and project work in the discipline of food technology.
  • You will support the development of teaching and research in food technology and sustainable product development.
  • Your other tasks will include organising the “food lab muenster”, a real-life laboratory that links science, technology and practice in the context of sustainable nutrition.
  • A very well-equipped food technology laboratory for sustainable product development.
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration with many opportunities for personal development.

Your background

  • You have a successfully completed Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Home Economics / Food Technology.
  • You also have several years of professional experience. You focus on food product development and quality assurance.
  • You have also completed vocational education and training in artisanal food production.
  • Teaching and research experience would be an asset.
  • You are a person with strong communication skills, capacity for teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure.

We offer you

  • You can look forward to a permanent part-time position (50%; 19 hours and 55 minutes/week). It will be possible to increase your working hours to 70% (27 hours 53 minutes) after two years.
  • We very much appreciate your commitment, which is why you will receive a performance-related salary up to pay scale 12 TV-L (Public Sector Collective Agreement for the Federal States), depending on your personal qualifications.
  • This position is to be filled at the next possible date. Your place of work will be Münster.
