Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences – Department of Mathematics
Research fellow (m/f/d) with expected full-time employment – E 13 TV-L HU (third party funding limited until 31st Dec. 2025)

Job description:
-    scientific services in research within the interdisciplinary excellence initiative MATH+ especially at the intersection of statistics, optimization and applications
-    development of novel methodology in statistics and optimization
-    investigation of theoretical questions as well as applications (e.g. in the social sciences) to model and analyze collective decision making procedures

Requirements:
-    completed scientific university degree in the field of mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics or related fields
-    PhD desired 
-    expertise in statistics and optimization
-    good command of written and spoken English is mandatory
