From 01. October 2021 (or later), the Chair of Information Management at the Georg-August-University of Göttingen offers a position as a

Research Associate (f/m/d)

with 75 % of the regular weekly working time (currently 29.85 hours/week), initially limited to 3 years. The position supports the qualification of thriving researchers and provides the opportunity for a doctorate. The position is suitable for part-time work. Salary: Pay grade 13 TV-L.

Your task will be to:
• Design, implement, and evaluate innovative software solutions to support tuberculosis prevention in Sub-Saharan Africa
• Use agile working methods (e.g., Design Thinking)
• Acquire and implement (inter-)national research proposals
• Plan and conduct research activities in the field of Digital Health
• Present research results at renowned (inter-)national conferences
• Assume teaching responsibilities (such as tutorial and seminars and supervising theses)

You demonstrate:
• That you have successfully completed your academic studies in the fields of business informatics, computer science, data science, statistics, industrial engineering, economics, or related subjects
• Great interest in conceptualizing and implementing innovative solutions with international collaboration partners
• Experience in Full Stack Development. Your task will be to develop mobile applications for iOS or Android using native or hybrid app development frameworks (e.g., Ionic, Flutter). Further, you should be able to configure and maintain backend services using cloud infrastructures (e.g., Google Firebase, Microsoft Azure)
• Enthusiasm for strategic thinking, particularly regarding technical and/or economic issues in the field of information systems
• That you have a good command of both written and spoken German (at least C1 required) and English (at least C1 required)
