Your area of work

In teaching, you cover the field of economics (microeconomics/macroeconomics/economic policy/international economics) in Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes of the Faculty of Business, Law and Economics. You hold lectures in German and English. By using your innovative ideas for application-oriented and internationally recognised research, you strengthen the research profile of the Faculty and actively attract third-party funding. You actively participate in the self-administration of the Faculty and in the Institute management and are willing to take on responsibility accordingly.


Your profile

You have a doctorate in economics with above-average grades as well as several years of relevant professional experience outside of higher education. The minimum of three years of professional experience outside of higher education may be substituted by habilitation or habilitation-equivalent achievements, especially if they have made a significant contribution to empirical and/or applied research. Your German and English language skills are excellent.

You have outstanding didactic skills, which you can demonstrate through your teaching experience. You are prepared to implement modern university didactics. You are able to align your own thinking and actions towards the long-term goals of the university as well as the ability to reliably develop solutions together with colleagues.
