Postdoctoral Researcher (m/f/div)
in the Field of Experimental Plasma Catalysis

The plasma for gas conversion (P4G) group is working on topic of plasma conversion of low energy molecules into value-added chemicals, by using low temperature plasmas. The research is contributing to power-to-gas initiative in the field of energy storage, hydrogen technology, and chemical energy carriers. Currently the group operates two microwave experiments covering the pressure range from low to atmospheric pressure, and focusing on fundamental understanding of the dominant CO2 pathways with aim to optimize efficiency of the plasma CO2 conversion. The group is expanding towards the field of plasma catalysis (dry methane reforming, ammonia synthesis, etc.), operating both microwave plasmas and dielectric barrier discharges (DBD).
