The Max Planck Institute for Terrestrial Microbiology , located in Marburg, is a distinguished research institution under the auspices of the Max Planck Society for the Advancement of Science. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Max Planck Institute for Terrestrial Microbiology, and we are actively seeking qualified candidates (m/f/d) to fill to fill a Postdoctoral researcher position as soon as possible.

The Metabolomics Core Facility of the Max Planck Institute for Terrestrial Microbiology is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to contribute to our cutting-edge research in the dynamic field of metabolomics.

As a valued member of our dynamic research team, your role will encompass the following exciting responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning Collaboration: Collaborate closely with researchers at the MPI for Terrestrial Microbiology, and external partners to contribute to the planning of innovative research projects in the field of Metabolomics.
• Cutting-Edge Method Development: Spearhead the development and optimization of novel LC-MS methods. Drive innovation by developing methods for structural elucidation, and lipidomics. Pioneer the integration of isotopic labeling strategies into routine facility operations.
• Scientific Documentation and Publication: Thoroughly document and meticulously publish your groundbreaking scientific results.

• Ph.D. in analytical, biological, or related natural science disciplines.
• Proven expertise in mass spectrometry and chromatography.
• Strong self-motivation, commitment, and collaborative spirit.
