The group uses cell type-specific neurotechnology to define the synaptic mechanisms within key neuronal circuits that control energy and glucose homeostasis. Applicants should be highly motivated, ambitious, and talented scientists who wish to be part of an international, enthusiastic, and collaborative team in an outstanding scientific environment. Applicants should have a PhD in life science with experience in brain slice electrophysiology and neurocircuitry mapping, mouse genetics, or metabolism research. The working language is English; knowledge of the German language is not required.

Our Offer
The employment contract is based on contracts for the civil service (TVöD Bund, Tarifvertrag für den öffentlichen Dienst). The positions are available for an initial two-year appointment with the possibility of extension.
