The Institute of Molecular Immunology at Technische Universität München is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow (TVL-E13) placed within a CRC project together with the Division of “Chronic Inflammation and Cancer” at the German Cancer research Center (DKFZ, Heidelberg). Our laboratory has a long standing interest in the role of chronic inflammation induced tissue damage and cancer in the context of viral infections or the metabolic syndrome - with the main focus in the liver.

The position is available from the 1st of June and open for three years with the possibility of prolongation. Work will take place at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), Heidelberg - the largest Biomedicine campus in Germany.
The Post-doctoral fellow should possess expertise in virology (preferentially with a link to the liver), and /or immunology and cell trafficking. Knowledge in cancer and lipid metabolism will be of advantage.

TU München seeks to increase the number of women in science. We therefore encourage qualified women to apply. We give priority to severely disabled applicants with essentially equal qualifications.
