The Department High Brightness Beams is looking for
Postdoc (m/w/d) - Beam dynamics photo injector
Your Tasks
- Plan and conduct an experimental program to map out the parameter space of the SRF photoinjector.
- Produce experimental and theoretical results for different operation modes of the photoinjector for Ultrafast, FEL, and ERL applications.
- Plan and project an upgrade program of the photoinjector towards pilot experiments for Ultrafast applications.
Your Profile
- Understanding of beam physics for space-charge dominated electron beams
- Experience in the design of electron beamlines for Ultrafast applications
- Beam dynamics experience with analytical approaches, tracking studies and ML technqiues
