The Research Group Hybrid Material Systems is looking for

Postdoc (f/m/d)

Your Tasks

  • You analyse the chemical and electronic structure of modern semiconductors and interfaces (AR-UPS, CFS-YS, NEXAFS, and XPS).
  • You plan and conduct experiments (in labs and at synchrotron radiation sources).
  • You cooperate with other researchers, particularly doctoral students.
  • You take on research and project management tasks.
  • You curate data and prepare publications.

Your Profile

  • Completed doctoral degree in physics or chemistry
  • Expertise in semiconductor carrier and excitation dynamics
  • Demonstrated experience in research on perovskites and/or organic semiconductors
  • Demonstrated experience in global and deconvoluted data fitting, programming in Python and Matlab, as well as electronic structure modeling
  • Intercultural competence and excellent communication skills
  • Excellent proficiency in either German or English (C1), with good proficiency in the other language (B2)
