The Institute Electrochemical Energy Storage is looking for
Postdoc (f/m/d) for the Tomographic Analysis of Zinc-Air-Batteries
Your Tasks
- You are responsible for the planning, execution and coordination of scientific research activities in the field of radiographic and tomographic 2D/3D/4D analysis of zinc-air-batteries.
- You will use synchrotron/neutron and FIB/SEM tomography to analyze electrode materials.
- You develop novel approaches for quantitative 3D analysis methods.
- You improve the manufacturing process for electrode materials.
Your Profile
- Extensive experience in the application and further development of synchrotron/X-ray and neutron tomography methods and their application to battery systems
- In-depth knowledge of 3D analysis and AI methods in the field of battery electrode materials
- Expertise in AI techniques in the field of imaging
- Excellent publication record
- Very good knowledge of battery materials
- Very good command of English language
- Good command of German language
- High level of intercultural competence and the ability to work in a team
- Experience in the presentation of scientific results
