Department of Bioinformatics at the TUM School of Life Sciences is seeking a post-doctoral fellow. The candidate will develop machine learning methods for epitope optimization within the BMBF-funded project “Modeling of host-pathogen interactions with applications to efficient immunization against SARS-CoV-2“. Your qualifications: - A PhD degree in computational biology, bioinformatics, systems biology, computer science, or biology - Excellent knowledge of bioinformatics and biology - Excellent knowledge of machine learning and statistics - Strong programming skills (python, R) - Comfortable with the Linux/Unix environment, databases (MySQL) Our offer: Salary is in accordance with the German public service salary scale: TVöD E14 100%. The position is available from January the 1st, 2022 for 24 months.
