Post-Doc Position: Mechatronics in Agriculture

The Chair of Agrimechatronics at Technical University of Munich (TUM) invites for applications for the position of a Post Doctoral Researcher. M/F/D. About the position
The position contains both teaching duties and participating in research projects. In addition, assisting in project applications and general development duties of the Chair.
About us
The Chair of Agrimechatronics (Prof. Oksanen) studies especially Intelligent Machines for Agriculture. The research themes include topics like tractors and other agricultural vehicles and robots, tractor-implement automation, communication technologies for vehicles, navigation, guidance and planning, positioning systems, model-based control of mechatronic systems, drives and power systems, and robotic implements.

Compensation
The person will be employed by TUM for fixed-term. The position will be paid in accordance with the Collective Agreement for the Civil Service of the Lands (TV-L).
Your qualifications
• Doctoral degree completed in technical/engineering sciences; or to be completed within the next three months
• Excellent skills in one or several of the following topics: mechatronics, robotics, control engineering, signal processing, sensor systems and algorithms, automation, communication technology, mechanical engineering
• Interest in agricultural vehicle applications
• Experience and/or studies in agricultural technology is beneficial, but not required
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English
• Fluent German language skills are highly beneficial
