Master thesis – Energy transport with chemical hydrogen storage

Your Job:

The aim of your work is to identify and compare the most promising options for hydrogen transportation - other than pipelines - for use with low purity requirements. In detail, your tasks will include:

  • Comprehensive literature research
  • Design and comparison of transport chains for hydrogen for industrial customers with a focus on chemical hydrogen storage
  • Techno-economic evaluation of various processes
  • Life Cycle Assessment of various processes
  • Close collaboration with internal and external cooperation partners
  • Detailed evaluation and preparation of the simulation results

Your Profile:

  • Good academic marks in environmental, energy or industrial engineering, or a related field of study
  • Interest in energy-related, economic and environmental issues
  • Independent and analytical way of working
  • Very good cooperation and communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Fluent oral and written proficiency in English
