The Cluster of Excellence "Contestations of the Liberal Script" (SCRIPTS) is located at Freie Universität Berlin, in cooperation with the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin, the Hertie School, the Berlin Social Science Center (WZB), the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW), the German Institute for Global and Area Studies (GIGA), the Center for Eastern European and International Studies (ZOiS), and the Leibniz-Zentrum Moderner Orient (ZMO) http://www.scripts-berlin.eu .
The Cluster of Excellence SCRIPTS assesses contemporary challenges for liberal democracy and market economy from historical, global, and comparative perspectives. It brings together expertise in social sciences and area studies in Berlin, and collaborates with research institutions as well as political, cultural and civil society groups worldwide.
The Berlin International College of Research and Graduate Training (BIRT) unites the Cluster’s Graduate School (Berlin Graduate School for Global and Transregional Studies) with the International Research College, the center for internationalization and the SCRIPTS visiting scholar programmes. The unit for Quality Management and Diversity supports researchers in conceptualizing projects and develops measures to ensure equal participation of everyone in the research process. These measures target in particular the inclusion of researchers from the Global South and the involved recognition of different research perspectives within SCRIPTS. To this end, SCRIPTS develops new formats of including perspectives and integrating researchers from the Global South with particular focus on the involvement of the Cluster’s international partners.

Job descrisption:
- Conceptualization of an integration concept: onboarding of international researchers and visiting fellows and continuous support throughout their affiliation with the Cluster
- Coordination and support of Cluster events with a particular focus on events involving the Global South, as well as conceptualization and coordination of Diversity events
- Supporting (international) early career researchers in conceptualizing and implementing scientific events
- Conceptualization and execution of projects within the context of (inter-)national cooperations (e.g. with academic partners)
- Advancement of the Diversity Concept and implementation of the Diversity Strategy
- Implementation of Gender & Diversity Controlling
- Coordination, implementation and analysis of the Diversity Survey
- Conceptualization and Implementation of Diversity Counselling

Requirements:
- Completed higher education degree in the social sciences and / or area studies

Desirable:
- Academic or practical experience in diversity management and internationalization, particularly in an academic context
- Experience in academic project management as well as the conceptualization and coordination of events
- Very high intercultural – and diversity competence

- Very good knowledge of spoken and written German and English
