At the department of "Practical Philosophy", Manon Garcia researches at the intersection of moral philosophy, political philosophy and philosophy of law, with a specific focus on feminist philosophy. Her research area also includes, among others, philosophy of sex, contemporary moral and political analytic philosophy, and history of moral and political philosophy (especially, but not only, political existentialism).

Job description:

-  The activity serves the own scientific qualification.

-  Development and implementation of an own doctoral project (dissertation) that fits the profile of the junior professorship
- Conducting one course per semester in the field of practical philosophy
- Support of the activities of the junior professorship in research and teaching as well as participation in organizational and administrative tasks

Requirements:
- University degree (Master or comparable) in philosophy

Desirable:

- Willingness to develop an own research project in the area of interest of the junior professorship
- Excellent knowledge of English (both writing and speaking) and at least intermediary level in German

- Competence in French would be a plus
- Ability to work in a team, high motivation, and personal responsibility
- Teaching experience at university level is an advantage
