Your Job:

  • Installation, maintenance and repair of PV systems for research purposes
  • Electrical and mechanical maintenance of laboratory test benches
  • Independent commissioning of test benches and PV systems
  • Support of scientists in the design and construction of research equipment
  • Assessment and Acceptance of the operational safety of electrical systems for research operation
  • Support in the operation of the research building, materials management and occupational safety
  • Collaboration in the organisation of the work steps of the electrical laboratory

Your Profile:

  • Successfully completed training as an electrical systems fitter, mechatronics technician or comparable training with electrotechnical focus
  • You enjoy the development and construction of new test setups and new technologies
  • Good technical and organizational skills
  • Experience in circuit design and programming is a plus
  • Experience in handling drones is a plus
  • Good computer skills
  • Personal initiative and the ability to work independently
  • Good cooperation and communication skills as well as the ability to work in an interdisciplinary and international team
  • Basic knowledge of English

We offer you an exciting and varied role in an international and interdisciplinary working environment. The position is initially for a fixed term of 2 years, with possible long-term prospects. Salary and social benefits will conform to the provisions of the Collective Agreement for the Public Service (TVöD-Bund) depending on the applicant’s qualifications and the precise nature of the tasks assigned to them.
