The group of Data Engineering at the Technical University of München is recruiting a researcher for the Collaborative Research Centre (CRC) Convide on Consistency in the View-Based Development of Cyber-Physical Systems. Convide researches methods and tools for constructing software-intensive technical systems. In accordance with the increasing role of software in these systems, the increased use and interconnection of software engineering approaches in systems engineering is being researched in an interdisciplinary manner by computer scientists and engineers. In addition to the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) as the spokesperson, the Technische Universität Dresden, the University of Mannheim and the Technische Universität München are also involved.

The group of Data Engineering at the Technical University of München is recruiting a researcher for the Collaborative Research Centre (CRC) Convide on Consistency in the View-Based Development of Cyber-Physical Systems.

Convide researches methods and tools for constructing software-intensive technical systems. In accordance with the increasing role of software in these systems, the increased use and interconnection of software engineering approaches in systems engineering is being researched in an interdisciplinary manner by computer scientists and engineers. In addition to the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) as the spokesperson, the Technische Universität Dresden, the University of Mannheim and the Technische Universität München are also involved.

Job Description
The position offered at Convide is for an academic staff member (m/f/d) (remuneration group TV-L E13, 100%), limited for an initial period of two years with extension option up to 4 years in total. Successful applicants bring the following:
• Excellent master's degree in computer science, mathematics or related subjects.
• Strong demonstrable commitment to research.
• Strong background in databases or knowledge representation.
• Strong background in mathematics, physics, or engineering.
• Proficiency in English, excellent speaking and writing skills.
• Experience in software development projects is a plus.
The position is to be fulfilled at the earliest date possible.
The possibility of doctoral studies is given in the case of fulfilment of the admission requirements of the corresponding doctoral regulations.
