Tasks - Research position in the areas of stochastic modeling and statistical inference, in particular stochastic processes, uncertainty quantification and machine learning; scientific analysis and development of research software; collaboration in third-party funded research projects of the chair, as well as data analysis with applications in medicine (60 %) - Teaching (depending on the final assignment of tasks to the extent of up to 4 LVS) in the field of statistics and data science, including assistance with examinations and supervision of seminar papers and theses (25 %) - Project management, organization of events and workshops (possibly in cooperation with other institutions involved in the project) as well as collaboration in academic self-administration (15 %) Employment is conductive to scientific qualification.
