1 PostDoc (m/f/d)
starting on January 1st, 2023.
Project description/Tasks:
The Department Nutrition and Gerontology (ERG) focuses on the importance of nutrition in old age and for healthy aging. In this context, the ERG cooperates closely with the Charité’s Geriatric Research Group in the Joint Lab "BEAM-AGE - Role of Nutritional Interventions in Age-Related Muscle Loss and Inflammaging". In the Joint Lab, clinical and experimental human intervention studies are conducted to investigate how age and aging processes influence nutrition, body composition and metabolism in humans.
Your responsibilities will include supporting Joint Lab research projects as follows:
- Implementation and design of human intervention studies
- Planning and execution of sample processing in human studies and collaborative projects
- Presentation of research results at national and international conferences
- Supporting academic teaching of the professorship (supervision of internships and theses, lectures)
The advertised position is limited for 3 years. The level of salary will be determined on the basis of standard/tariff conditions, present qualifications and professional experience (TV-L, level E13).
