Senior R&D Engineer: Design of Magnetic Sensors

CrivaSense Technologies is looking for a senior R&D engineer to join its sensor development team and make a significant contribution to the design of advanced magnetic sensors using spintronic technologies. We offer a large portfolio of sensor solutions including speed, current, proximity, & angular sensors among others.

Job Missions: You will be in the hub of the sensor development chain, from the sensor specification to its validation and qualification, via the sensor design and associated simulations. In a daily collaborative environment, you will be at the interface between our customers and our internal material technology and sensor fabrication team. As a key contributor of the R&D team, you will interact with the R&D engineers and technicians, as well as scientists from the CEA team in Saclay within the framework of our common lab.

Your missions & responsibilities will consist of:

- Customer interfacing for sensor specification, project planning & reporting
- Sensor design and simulation using appropriate tools (ANSYS Maxwell, Matlab…)
- Sensor prototyping & validation using proper characterization setups and mapping stations, contribution to the development of dedicated setups when necessary
- Sensor qualification under the challenging constraints of the automotive industry
- Support sensor integration in end applications
