Offer Description
Within UMR 7597 (Histoire des Théories Linguistiques - HTL), and as part of the Émergence(s) project "Oc/Oïl : textes, identité et contact de langues aux confins gallo-romans" (Oc/Oïl: texts, identity and language contact on the Gallo-Romance borders), the Language Science researcher will play an active role in documentation (corpus building), language contact analysis and linguistic geography (cartography).
- documentation of Crescent languages through field surveys ;
- analysis of language contact phenomena involving the Crescent;
- documentary watch on scientific and non-scientific productions concerning the Crescent;
- production of linguistic geography maps and analyses;
- analysis of data collected, leading to one or more communications and publications;
- organization of conferences and workshops on Crescent languages and Oc/Oil contact.
The position is to be filled within HTL (UMR 7597). The candidate will be asked to take part in scientific events organized as part of the Émergence(s) " Oc/Oïl " project.

- native or bilingual French
- in-depth knowledge of dialectology (Gallo-Romance)
- in-depth knowledge of linguistic geography

- B driver's license (mandatory)
- proficiency in cartographic software (QGIS, ShinyDialect, etc.)
