Offer Description
The project aims to determine the capture efficiency of greenhouse gases and hydrogen-based gas-mixtures. The aim is to measure the selectivity and fraction recovered of hydrogen-based and carbon-based gas mixtures. The project will be in collaboration with Horiba S.A.
The recruited researcher will use an instrumented reactor, regulated in pressure and temperature.
- She/He will study the amount of gas absorbed into hydrates from H2- and CO2-based gas mixtures.
- She/he will measure online gas composition and selectivity in the hydrate
- She/he will measure the fraction of carbon or hydrogen captured using Raman spectroscopy.
The Raman device adapted to the optical reactor will be made available specifically for this study. It will also provide information on the aqueous substructure to determine the structure of the hydrate phases.
- Phlam Laboratory at University of Lille (https://phlam.univ-lille.fr/ )
- Team MPI will make the recruitment. The work will take place in Anatrac group
- Salary is commensurate with experience and gross salary starts at around 2810€/month.
