Offer Description
Postdoctoral position in the Cancer Epigenetics and Immunotherapy group headed by Dr Pilar Dominguez at the Mediterranean Center for Molecular Medicine (C3M) INSERM U1065 - Université Côte d’Azur in Nice https://www.c3m-nice.fr/en/Teams/team-14/ .
The team focuses on hematological malignancies (lymphoma, leukemia), common and aggressive cancers with limited treatment options. Their research integrates basic and translational approaches, combining epigenetic-focused themes as well as human systems, mouse models and innovative methods to investigate the causes of blood cancer and enhance the applicability of epigenetic therapies and immunotherapies.
The main focus of the proposed project is to explore new combinatorial epigenetic therapies to treat blood cancers.

Eligibility criteria
- PhD in Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline
- Expertise in molecular biological and biochemical techniques
- Experience with primary cell cultures and cancer cell lines
- Experience with animal experimental models
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven track-record through publications
- Desirable: experience in bioinformatic analysis

The Mediterranean Center for Molecular Medicine (C3M), created in January 2008, is a joint research unit under the governance of Inserm (National Institute of Health and Medical Research) and Université Côte d'Azur (UCA). This research center is dedicated to translational research into cancer, cardiometabolic diseases and infectious diseases. The association of researchers and clinicians working in C3M creates a synergy based on a common project at the interface between fundamental research and clinical research. The C3M is made up of fourteen research teams that maintain fruitful collaborations with doctors and clinicians from a dozen clinical departments of the Nice University hospitals.
