Offer Description
The Post-doctoral fellow will be in charge of the chemical ligation between lipid-inspired hydrophobic domains prepared in the team of Montpelllier and glycosyl donors as well as their purification and complete structural characterization (1D and 2D NMR, MS-UPLC…). He/she will study the colloidal properties of the final amphiphiles by means of surface tension and spectrofluorometry measurements as well as dynamic light scattering. He/She will be working side by side with a PhD fellow. The biochemical validation will be carried out on several types of proteins of fundamental and pharmaceutical interest in Paris-Saclay and in Lyon.

Specific Requirements
To apply to this position, you should have
Extensive and proven experience in organic synthesis.
Extensive and proven experience in characterization/purification of amphiphilic organic compounds.
High-level competency in investigating self-aggregation properties of amphiphiles.
Experience in biophysics and biochemistry of membrane proteins is helpful, but not essential.
Creativity in experimental design and effective team-working skills.
Excellent communication skills in French and English
