The PhD project will take place at the MPQ laboratory and the ITODYS laboratory at Université Paris Cité and will be part of the interdisciplinary MITI project NANODOP2D.
Combine chemical and physical methods to achieve a nanostructuration of dopants in 2D materials. Realization of molecular assemblies on 2D materials and characterization by infra-red, XPS, UPS spectroscopic techniques. Sample doping in ultra-high vacuum conditions using a plasma source. Structural and electronic characterization at the atomic scale using low-temperature (4 K) scanning tunneling microscopy in ultra-high vacuum.
