Offer Description

 

Mission: Participate in the exploitation of the corpus of the Dictionary of Medieval Scientific French within the framework of the LEXHISCIENCES program;  Implement methods and tools for analyzing, formatting and editing historical and cultural sources and data.

Main activities:

-Participate in the development of digital tools, processing, critical analysis and dissemination of the sources of the corpus and feed them

- Ensuring scientific and technical monitoring: contributing to the enrichment of documentary resources for collective use

- Contribute to the dissemination of knowledge about the sources, through personal and collective publications

- Promote your discipline to the public; Design and produce communication materials

- Update your disciplinary and technical knowledge

- Participate in a national or international collaborative network in a field of research

-Participate in a working group, project development and management

Transversal knowledge required:    Organisation and functioning of research and higher education in France     Organization and operation of Sorbonne University     Regulations applicable to their field of professional activity Required knowledge In-depth knowledge of the history of medieval science     In-depth knowledge of medieval French and Latin Know-how:    Use prospecting and source inventory methods    Use the methods, referencing tools and nomenclatures of the field of study (master's degree)     Know how to transcribe handwriting (manuscripts, epigraphic documents, old prints, etc.) and know how to pick up forms     Know how to formalize the needs and constraints for the development of data processing tools (mastery)     Know how to control the development of data processing tools Soft skills:    Good interpersonal skills and sense of teamwork     Availability and reactivity   Organization and rigor   Sense of public service
